With Steel as his canvas, Michigan-born Nick Moss spent his early years growing up on a farm surrounded by industrial steel machinery. From a young age to this day, steel has been part of his everyday life. From farm equipment, industrial contracting, and building a brand, all of which had metal fabrication heavily involved. In 2014 moss Redirected his focus on testing his skill set toward personal creative ventures constructing Art.

There is something so familiar yet unique about emotions. Each emotion has an implied meaning that we all understand or have felt before. The idiosyncrasy lies in the ways that we choose to express each emotion. Our facial expressions and mannerisms are unique to us and that originality is the inspiration behind this collection of wearable art.

The power behind emojis is fascinating. They speak volumes and provoke feelings with a simple icon. The more I thought about emojis, the more I started to appreciate what they stand for: a simpler way to express how we feel.
Emotions are a major component of the human experience; they become characters in our own stories. They are what make us recognizable and that is why I wanted to make limited-edition wearable art for everyone. The way emotions are unique to you, every emoji sewn onto these wearable pieces of art will be original and unique to you.
Every stainless steel emoji is one-of-a-kind and handmade in my studio. After being drawn and cut using a CNC laser, the steel emoji goes through a series of labor‑intensive processes. A rigorous sanding session creates unique physical markings and is then followed by painting with fire–each emoji gets my method of painting using oxy-acetylene torches and patinas, creating physical and chemical elements which mean that no two are alike.
